Coaching
Doing any kind of coaching may not be easy, but it sure is fun! You have many choices on this subject and the best thing about it is that you can earn a reasonable income while learning new things and passing on knowledge.
What You Need To Know About Coaching
Coaching is great, being able to teach others what you know and let them use your knowledge to be the best they can be. When you are a coach and one of your players is getting some amazing award for their achievement, you can stand there and day “Wow, they are good and have learnt my knowledge, I helped them to get where they are now” and you can stand there beaming with pride like a mother would beam at her newborn child. Being a coach is a big deal, you have to be willing to commit to them and be even more dedicated then they are because you have to teach them to be dedicated themselves.
Being a coach is the most profitable, flexible, rewarding and convenient job anyone can ever hope for. Of course, it is a lot more than a piece of cake but it is well worth it. It is also a lot of fun to do, coach others, communicate, laugh, be serious, have more fun, that’s what coaching a team is all about. You have to know when to work and when to play. The team has to be friends and it is the coach’s job to make sure there is no conflict between players and if it is, they have to be the one to sort it out. It’s their team and they took on the responsibility.
What are the disadvantages of becoming a coach? Either there aren’t any, or there are but nobody knows them. What can be disadvantageous about coaching a team? The hours? No, it’s not all that much. Working some Saturdays? No, there are many jobs that require that. Disadvantages are difficult to find, but advantages, there are many. Just a few of them are;
- You can earn and learn at the same time
- It is a rewarding as well as fulfilling career
- Coaching increases professional and personal growth
- Have people looking up to you as a role model
- You can have fun while you teach
- You can live and work anywhere
- You can bring in a comfortable income
- Work at your own pace, as much as you think the team can handle
- You can change people’s lives and help them live their dreams
- You can make yourself known, become the coach every kid wishes to have
Even if you already have a job but still have some free time, you can coach part time. Many coaches do this, then find that they are having a great time while earning big and the later go on to taking on coaching as a fulltime job. Visit a few schools to see if they are in need of a coach, or you can even start your own team by putting up notices and things. There is always a way to succeed when it comes to coaching a team. Build a relationship with your team, become friends, teach them what you know and watch them put their knowledge to the test on the field.
